Honeycomb Bee House

In addition to the honey bee, North America has many hundreds of different species of bees and solitary pollinators. These bees rarely sting and are an important part in ecological gardening and help fertilize the plants and flowers in your garden. The decline in flora and nesting opportunities endangers many species of bees.

This beehouse offers the perfect nesting accommodation for several species. A female bee makes in the cardboard straw, several cells with one egg and a mixture of pollen and nectar to feed the larvae. Hang this beehouse in a sunny spot facing the south.
