Salem’s Black Hat Society (SBHS) was founded in October 2016 when Brian Sims first started street performing for Haunted Happenings in Salem, MA as Borah Brewington Snaggletooth XIII. SBHS brings perpetually fun, positive, energy filled performances creating smiles, joy, happiness, good will AND a little magic to Salem, with proceeds from tips being donated to local children's charities.

As a character witch, BORAH! roams the streets of Salem welcoming, entertaining and engaging with people and helping educate visitors about Salem’s rich history. SBHS also promotes local events, venues and the business community.

You may catch BORAH! singing Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary, Christmas songs and national and international anthems. Borah is always ready to snap pictures with guests or break out into a crazy song and dance.  
BORAH! can also be found officiating weddings, vow renewals and baby gender reveals around Salem.

SBHS has frequent and unique giveaways, contests and drawings on their Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok accounts. SBHS also can be seen live streaming through the Salem's Black Hat Society and Haunted Happenings Magazine Facebook pages. SBHS also has a YouTube channel where you can find more of their fun videos.

SHIPPING
At this time, orders shipped within the United States are shipped using USPS or UPS. Tracking information will be provided via email.

International shipping is offered on case-by-case basis. Please email us at contactus@pem.org to inquire.

IN STORE PICKUP
For our local customers, we are pleased to offer an In Store Pickup option! How it works:

1. Shop online at shop.pem.org

2. At checkout, select Curbside Pickup as your shipping method. Place your order.

3. Once we have prepared your order, you will receive an email that your order is ready for pickup.

4. Follow the pickup instructions provided in your email. Arrive at our Store location at 161 Essex Street.

5. Orders not picked up within two weeks of order date will be canceled and refunded.

Please Note: Please allow 2-3 days from purchase date for processing. In Store Pickup is available Thursday through Monday 10 am–5 pm.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
We are pleased to accept returns within 30 days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in their original condition and packaging.
