In Chinese culture Bats represent Good Luck and red is considered a particularly lucky color
Bat measures approximately 3" wide by 2.5" tall and comes with a clip affixed to the back.

Michael G. LaFosse has been working for over forty years as an origami artist, papermaker and author. Trained as a biologist, he finds his strongest inspiration in the natural world preferring to study his subjects in their natural habitats. He credits the work of the late Japanese Origami Grand Master, Akira Yoshizawa, for leading the way by exploring nature and achieving creative expression in origami art.
Richard Alexander Richard met Michael LaFosse in 1988, and they have worked together to advance origami as a fine art. In 1996 they co-founded Origamido Studio, a teaching and resource center / art gallery for their handmade papers and folded paper art. Richard’s background in industrial training made it easy for him to become a seasoned teacher of origami and hand papermaking. Together, Michael and Richard have authored over 70 books, kits, and video publications about their origami designs and hand papermaking.

At checkout, select Curbside Pickup as your shipping method. Place your order.

Once we have prepared your order, you will receive an email that your order is ready for pickup.

Follow the pickup instructions provided in your email. Arrive at our Store location at 161 Essex Street.
- Orders not picked up within two weeks of order date will be canceled and refunded.
Please Note: Please allow 2-3 days from purchase date for processing. In Store Pickup is available Thursday through Monday 10 am–5 pm.
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
We are pleased to accept returns within 30 days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in their original condition and packaging.
