Local Artist Nicholas Demakes is one of the featured artists in the exhibition Bats!. These whimsical signed limited edition prints imagines... What if Batman's sidekick Robin really was the bird that shares his name.
The Original artwork was painted with coffee & acrylic paint.
Print with mat is 8" x 10"
Print is 5" x 7"
There may be slight differences in the color of the mats and the tones of the print from the one pictured.
What began with a fragmented drawing has evolved into a collection of limited prints, clocks and original paintings.
After graduating Montserrat College of Art in 1994, Nicholas Demakes was finally free to pursue art within the horror and fantasy genre which was discouraged during his college years. Since then the subject matter of his work has evolved into a fantastical collection of sculptural clocks and original paintings including "Hellequin", based on the Harlequin Folklore of the Demon Huntsman and a twisted rendering of Raphael's "Cupid".
The mediums used by Nicholas in his art are often as unusual as his subject matter. Over the years he has developed a process of blending the more traditional oils and acrylics with such varied materials as radiator patch, fruit juices and coffee grounds.

At this time, orders shipped within the United States are shipped using USPS or UPS. Tracking information will be provided via email.

For our local customers, we are pleased to offer an In Store Pickup option! How it works:

At checkout, select Curbside Pickup as your shipping method. Place your order.

Once we have prepared your order, you will receive an email that your order is ready for pickup.

Follow the pickup instructions provided in your email. Arrive at our Store location at 161 Essex Street.
- Orders not picked up within two weeks of order date will be canceled and refunded.
Please Note: Please allow 2-3 days from purchase date for processing. In Store Pickup is available Thursday through Monday 10 am–5 pm.
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
We are pleased to accept returns within 30 days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in their original condition and packaging.
