The Museum Shop located inside the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, Massachusetts, carries a carefully curated selection of merchandise inspired by our diverse collection and changing exhibitions. Every store purchase directly supports the museum’s mission, exhibitions and education programs. Admission to the museum is not required to access the award-winning gift shop.

Visit PEM Archive, Our Clearance Shop
Are you on the lookout for the best deals? We have an entire store dedicated to the bargain shopper. PEM Archive, the Museum Shop’s clearance store, is located at 181 Essex Street, steps away from our main entrance. Here you will find clothes, houseware and gifts, all at 40% off original prices. Members get an additional 10% discount — that’s a total of 50% off everything!
Location and Hours
The Museum Shop is open Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays 10 am – 5 pm.. The store is conveniently located within the Peabody Essex Museum main building at 161 Essex Street in Salem, Massachusetts.
The PEM Archive clearance shop is open Thursdays through Sundays from noon to 4 pm. The store is located at 181 Essex Street in Salem, Massachusetts.
