This mask project by Carla Fernández is a tribute to 10 artisan makers of traditional masks in five different states: Michoacan, Colima, Oaxaca, Chiapas and Guerrero. 25% of the sales from this project supports the artisans directly involved in the project. The rest supports another 175 artisans with whom the brand collaborates.

Carla Fernández works at the forefront of ethical fashion, documenting and preserving the rich textile heritage of Mexico's indigenous communities, while simultaneously making it avant-garde. She has had solo exhibitions at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Boston; the Americas Society, New York; the Museo Jumex, Mexico City and this December she will be honored with the Design Visionary Award by Design Miami.
Her piece, 'Fashion as Resistance' is included in the Peabody Essex Museum's exhibition, 'Made It: The Women Who Revolutionized Fashion,' which will be on view November 21, 2020 to March 14, 2021.

At checkout, select Curbside Pickup as your shipping method. Place your order.
Once we have prepared your order, you will receive an email that your order is ready for pickup.
Follow the pickup instructions provided in your email. Arrive at our Store location at 161 Essex Street.
- Orders not picked up within two weeks of order date will be canceled and refunded.
Please Note: Please allow 2-3 days from purchase date for processing. In Store Pickup is available Thursday through Monday 10 am–5 pm.
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
